I found this Star Wars women’s top during one of my regular searches, and while it’s unfortunately sold out in a few sizes, it was (and still is) on sale. Made by Urban Species, the sleeveless top is a little longer than a usual t-shirt, with raw edged armholes. The print is the Death Star Battle artwork by John Berkey, with a plain black back. The fabrics of the front and back are different – with the front fabric a little thinner and softer than the back. The front is sewn from printed fabric, so it’s nice and soft (a full front overlay print would be very stiff). The tag notes are “fabric 1: 100% polyester, fabric 2: 100% cotton”. The Star Wars logo is printed in a silver foil, which should be treated with care to prolong it’s life. I quite like the placement of the logo, centered along the top edge of the image.
The top is still available in sizes US 0, 2, 4 and 6. I got myself a bit confused with UK and US sizing (switching between two versions of the site) and ordered the US size 0 (UK4) – which fits fine, it is larger than I expected. It measures approximately 46cm across the chest (underarm to underarm), 47cm across the lower hem, and 63cm from front neckline to hem. It originally retailed for US$36.68 – but I paid US$22.01, it is still on sale for that price. It’s a great shirt, I’m really glad I was able to grab one – ASOS ship internationally!
