Loungefly is well-known for their handbags and wallets, but they also make a range of accessories. A while ago I posted a review of two of their Star Wars hair bows, and soon afterwards also bought the Chewbacca bow from the same collection. This bow originally retailed for US$8.50, compared to US$6.50 for the R2-D2 or Imperial bow. I bought mine from Hot Topic, and has recently been restocked so it’s again available to buy from Hot Topic.
The main bow is sewn from a lovely and soft fluffy fabric, perfect for a Chewbacca theme. The bandolier detail is embroidered with brown and silver thread, a great touch. The back has a standard brooch clip as well as an alligator clip – so the bow can be worn in the hair or attached to clothing. It measures approximately 12cm across, the same size as the R2-D2 bow from the same collection. I think it’s a wonderfully cute accessory, I’m really happy to add it to my collection.
