The Columbia Star Wars Empire Crew Parka is now available! This parka is inspired by the jacket worn by filming crew from The Empire Strikes Back while shooting the Hoth scenes in Norway. The unisex-fit jacket is made from high-performance materials designed to keep you protected from the icy cold climate of Hoth – or wherever your galactic adventures take you.
This is a limited edition item – only 2000 are available. With a range of seven sizes, there will be a small amount available of each size – this will definitely sell quickly!
This is a technical high-performance jacket that features a waterproof, breathable and critically seam-sealed outer layer to protect against the elements, while the Omni-Heat™ thermal-reflective lining and insulation keeps you warm. Features include a removable, adjustable hood with removable faux-fur trim, two-way collar, ribbed comfort cuffs, wrist zips and multifunctional pockets. The unisex style sells for $500 USD.
Select U.S. stores are also carrying a handful of parkas signed by Mark Hamill, the actor who played Luke Skywalker in the film. Fans can purchase a signed jacket for $1,980 USD, and all proceeds of that sale will be donated to charity.
Available in unisex sizes XXS to XXL, the parka is priced at US$500.00 each. As a sizing guide, Columbia notes the female model is wearing the jacket size ‘Extra Small’ (her given measurements for reference – height – 5’8″ and waist – 26”).

*Update* this limited edition item sold out very quickly, but sadly it looks like a significant percentage were bought by people purely to resell for profit. Checking eBay, there are 290 listings already, despite the fact that online orders haven’t even arrived in hand yet. The original retail was US$500 each – but most of these listings are priced at US$900 to US$1,000!
