One of my very first stops at Celebration Chicago was the Heroes & Villains booth. I am a big fan of their range of Star Wars apparel and accessories, and just had to check everything out in person.
The range available at the booth included handbags, backpacks, wallets, caps, t-shirts, and jackets. Stopping by later on that weekend, I noticed many items had sold out – and I saw many fans wearing their new Heroes & Villains items at the convention.
For me, the highlight of the Heroes & Villains booth was the new Rebel symbol handbag and wallet. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I knew I had to have it – my limited luggage space meant I was trying to restrict my shopping to very special pieces, and these were definitely on my list!
The soft grey coloured faux leather handbag features a raised metal Rebel Alliance symbol, with an intertwined design. The top-stitched radiating lines are reminiscent of the shoulder details of Rey’s vest, a lovely subtle element.
I seriously can’t get over how gorgeous this symbol is – it reminds me of two wedding rings, interlocked together. I would love to see this variation of the Rebel symbol used for other items like jewelry.
The booth also had great specials, like 40% off all Star Wars jackets, and a fantastic array of their apparel and accessories. There was always a big line at the booth, which of course was not surprising!
I was glad I picked up the Rebel handbag and wallet on the first day of the convention, I would have been very sad to miss out! Stay tuned for a review coming soon.
