For May the Fourth, Adidas unveiled a gallery of licensed Star Wars images for customizing their XZ Flux range of shoes. Through the app, customers could select an image and position/scale it to their liking and order their created footwear. While this was fun to play around with, personally I found it hard to get images positioned well – but now there’s another way to get Adidas x Star Wars footwear – and with even more options!
Available via the Adidas website, customers can select from two styles of shoe base – the ‘mi Star Wars ZX Flux’ and the ‘mi Star Wars Superstar 80’s’. Each shoe style has two different range of options, and are available in women’s US shoes sizes 5 to 15. By playing with the options, you control just how many Star Wars touches you want, including sole and shoelaces! Unfortunately, it looks like these Star Wars shoes may be only available in certain countries (I could find them on the US site but not NZ).
