The Run Disney Star Wars ‘Dark Side’ Half Marathon Weekend is coming up this weekend at Walt Disney World, and there will be a lot of apparel available. Together with the new Dark Side-themed Dooney & Bourke handbag range that was revealed earlier, the expo merchandise includes a huge array of women’s Run Disney x Star Wars apparel and accessories. Any one can purchase these items from the expo, as you do not need to enter a race to attend the expo, though of course, many of the items only make ‘sense’ if you completed the race/s mentioned on the apparel. As well as t-shirts and tank tops, the range includes caps, headbands, jackets, and collectible pins.
I am actually entered for the 5K and the Dark Side challenge this year, but due to unfortunate life circumstances I mentioned in an earlier post, I sadly won’t be able to attend. I’m rather crushed, as I was so excited about the inaugural ‘Kessel Run’ medal for completing both Star Wars half marathons (I finished the Rebel Challenge at Disneyland in January), for obvious reasons! I am sure this coming event will be hugely popular, so I’m hoping I will be able to attend more Run Disney Star Wars events in the future – I mean, we have the huge Star Wars Land expansions to both US Disney parks to look forward to as well!
