The full preview of the new Black Milk Clothing x Star Wars collection has been released! The full collection includes 21 printed pieces, with artwork inspired by the classic Star Wars trilogy and a few inspired by The Last Jedi. As I wondered, this new collection does indeed bring back a few classic designs, like the iconic Artoo swimsuit!

Favourite prints making a return include the iconic R2-D2 swimsuit, which saw unprecedented sales after its 2012 release. The collection also features a number of brand new prints that draw on more recent Star Wars films, including new hero Rey and the porgs that inhabit the island of Ahch-To in The Last Jedi.

The press release mentions 22 items in the collection, but the range shown on the Black Milk Clothing website and Pinterest board shows only 21 – I’m not sure that means there is one missing, or it was a typo in the press release.
I absolutely love the designs, but… this is a completely limited collection. Some pieces are ‘7 day unlimited’, meaning you have one week to buy it, then it’s gone. The rest of the designs are limited, which means only a limited amount has been made, and once a size/style has sold out, it won’t be remade. I have so many emotions about this, I’m honestly quite upset – but that’s best left to talk about in another post. What are your thoughts on the whole collection being limited?
The Black Milk Clothing x Star Wars collection will launch 7AM AEST, 18th September 2018 – prices range from AU$70.00 to AU$179.00 each (approximately US$50.31 to US$128.65). Black Milk Clothing can ship internationally.
