Wow, what an adventure! I am finally back home in New Zealand after 4 crazy days at Celebration Orlando. I attended panels, had meetings with amazing people from brands I adore, made new connections, and had a great time with friends.
Unfortunately I did not have good internet access during my trip, so I have a bit of catching up to do. I have a lot of photos to share, and will also be posting my Women’s Star Wars Fashion panel online, with both text/photos and full video. Stay tuned for posts beginning tomorrow.
It was a crazy adventure, but my friends and I managed to overcome the odds and were able to attend both the 40th Anniversary panel and The Last Jedi panel (got my badge signed by Rian Johnson while camping overnight!) – we were even included in the closing ceremony highlight reel twice!
Had a few meetings with companies, including a wonderful dinner with the CEO of one of my all-time favourite fashion labels – it was an absolute pleasure, and I am blown away by what they have in store for the future! 😉
It was great to see a lot of new fashion available at the convention – many items I knew about a few months ago, but due to signing non-disclosure agreements, I couldn’t say anything. So exciting to finally see those concept images as real items – I thought I had narrowed down my favourites, but after seeing them in person, I want them all! I also met some great new designers – more on them soon!
Now to catch up on some sleep!
