It is January 1st 2022 here in New Zealand – Happy New Year!
My family has an annual tradition of staying up to midnight on New Years Eve, celebrating the year that’s been with an evening of festive food and favourite movies. After a nice long sleep in this morning, my husband and I are blogging side by side on this wonderful summer afternoon, and I am full of optimism for the year ahead.
To be honest, 2021 didn’t go at all like I thought it would – but then I’m pretty sure it was a weird year for all of us. The ongoing pandemic continued to disrupt our lives, and on top of all that, my health took a hard left turn. I am genuinely sorry for not posting here as often as I used to – finding a new routine that balances my passions and making sure to take care of myself is my main goal for 2022.
As a fun added bonus, a parcel of Christmas gifts arrived on New Years Eve, all the way from the US – something that I didn’t expect to arrive until well into the new year, as shipping delays continue to affect us here down under. Some exciting Star Wars fashion items that I’m keen to share soon here on my blog.
2022 promises to be an amazing year for Star Wars fans – so many new Disney + shows to watch! The Book Of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch, Andor, and The Mandalorian – and whatever else Lucasfilm decides to surprise us with along the way! Hours and hours of fun in a galaxy far far away.
