Thinkgeek has a new women’s Star Wars maxi skirt available! The full length maxi skirt features of R2-D2’s classic features printed on a sheer outer layer, with a white inner layer – the design continues around the back, it is not repeated (I’m not sure why they don’t show a photo of the back). The waistband has 2 1/2″ wide elastic – the photos indicate the skirt has pockets, but they are not mentioned in the item description. Priced at US$49.99 each, the skirt is available in sizes S to 3X – Thinkgeek can ship internationally. I can see this being used in some fun ‘everyday cosplay’ R2-D2 outfits – it’s nice to see more full-length Star Wars garments being made.
