Today’s review item continues the theme of Star Wars apparel featuring classic Marvel comic art – a Star Wars crop top from Forever 21. It features a panel from Marvel’s Star Wars comic series, issue #37 from July 1980, art by Carmine Infantino. The print uses the one panel of R2-D2 in black & white, repeated across the front, back and arms. The top is 94% polyester, 6% spandex/elastane, so it has good stretch. The top is sewn from printed fabric, rather than printed on top of the fabric, so the image won’t crack with stretching, but the black areas may appear a little more gray. I bought mine in size S, it measures approximately 36cm across the chest (underarm to underarm) and approximately 30cm across the lower hem. I paid US$15.80, it’s a great top and I love the artwork.
