While at Celebration Anaheim I was excited to see the new women’s Star Wars collection from We Love Fine. One item that I really liked was the ‘I Am Han’ t-shirt. Featuring a front and back print using Han Solo’s vest design, the t-shirt has a high side split, with a longer hem at the back. This feature made me immediately think of pairing the top with the Gold Bubble Clothing bloodstripe leggings – the longer hem in the back is great for a little extra coverage when wearing leggings. The print design is really neat – it even has shading details along the front ‘vest opening’ to give the appearance of layering. The fabric is 95% polyester, 5% spandex, it has a lovely drape. I bought mine in a size S, it measures approximately 38.5cm across the chest (underarm to underarm), approximately 47.5cm from front neckline to hem, with the back measuring approximately 11cm longer than the front. The side splits measure approximately 21.5cm up from the front hem, so could show some skin if worn with low waisted pants. I paid US$28 for the t-shirt, which is the same price as on the website.
When the collection was added to the We Love Fine website, I took the opportunity to grab the coordinating ‘I Am Han’ shorts on sale. These are a great item on their own or worn with the Han Solo t-shirt. They feature side panels with red bloodstripe embroidery and elastic waist band. The fabric is 60% cotton, 40% polyester, a nice thickness for shorts. I bought mine in size S, they measure approximately 34cm across the waist band, the bloodstripe panels measure approximately 14cm long. The shorts retail for US$35, but I paid US$31.50 for them on sale. I think this is a great set if you’re looking for a casual smuggler look, perfect for summer. I love the all the neat details, like the t-shirt’s side split to show off the bloodstripes when worn together.
