Today’s review features the Bioworld x Star Wars Galactic Empire envelope clutch. I had seen Bioworld’s envelope wallets for other licenses, and wondered if they would make one with a Star Wars theme – so I was very excited when they released a ‘Galactic Empire’ version. I love clutches, so of course this was on my shopping list as soon as I saw it!

The envelope wallet is made from a faux leather, with two silver contrasting panels embossed with a repeating stormtrooper helmet design. The front flap features an embossed Imperial ‘cog’ symbol appliqué, and closes with a standard button dome clasp.
The wallet is lined inside with black fabric, with 6 card slots and one bill slot. A removable 48″ gunmetal silver chain is attached by clips at two eyelets, allowing the wallet to be worn over the shoulder. If you prefer to carry it in your hands as a clutch, you can tuck the chain inside the clutch, or simple remove the chain strap via the clips.
The back has an open pocket, which is also lined in black fabric. When closed it measures approximately 19.2cm by 12cm – the internal capacity isn’t enough to hold objects like car keys or lipstick, but I can easily fit paper items like receipts or tickets, and even my smart phone – it is a wallet after all.
I really like this slender design – a perfect Star Wars accessory for your little black dress. I would love to see them release a matching Rebel Alliance version, with gold colour tones for the details.
