I love the Loungefly x Star Wars collection, and while I own several handbags from the collection, I realised I hadn’t purchased a wallet to coordinate. While I’m not usually drawn to the ‘sugar skull’ style, I loved the added details and style of this sugar skull stormtrooper wallet – the white background of the helmet helps it stand out. I paid US$29.75 from Modern PinUp (usually priced at US$35 but I made use of a 15% off sale) – unfortunately it’s currently out of stock at Modern PinUp, but it’s still available direct from Loungefly for US$38.00.
The tri-fold wallet is made from black faux leather, with the standard Loungefly printed Star Wars logo black lining fabric inside. The front flap features a sugar skull stormtrooper appliqué, with printed white/black/silver details, with a black rose appliqué on either side satin stitched with silver thread. The background silver starburst lines finish off the design, I love the level of detail. The back features a zip up compartment (the zipper pull features the Loungefly logo), and the Star Wars logo enamelled metal plaque that features throughout the collection. Inside the wallet includes 8 card slots (the last has a clear plastic window) and two bill slots – there is also a bill slot behind the card slots. The wallet closes with a standard magnetic button closure – it still closes easily with all the card slots filled. This is now my everyday wallet, it fits everything I need – I just love it so much!
