I love finding unusual Star Wars fashion items, there is so much more available out there for women than I’m aware of, as there are so many stores that don’t sell on-line. Many items I find from overseas stores are from resellers on ebay – this Star Wars ladies underwear set is one example. They are made by Primark, a fashion store in the UK and Europe, which unfortunately does not sell on-line. I love unusual items like this, I never find Star Wars underwear for women in New Zealand! I bought two packs, as I was a little unsure of the sizing – one set in size xs, the other in size s. I paid US$22.46 for each pack.
The three women’s briefs each feature a different design – a pink pair with a repeating Star Wars logo print in black, a multi-colour pair with a poster art grid pattern, and a black pair with ANH dvd cover art image with a gold border (which looks like glitter, but only printed). The briefs are 95% cotton, 5% elastane, with a trim of lace along the top edge, accented with a small bow at the front. The pink and multi-colour briefs are sewn from printed fabric, while the black pair has the image printed on the front (the back is plain). Funnily enough that matches the underwear set by Peter Alexander – that is, two pairs from printed fabric, one black pair with a printed image on the front. The printed image doesn’t stretch, so it could be prone to cracking over time if overstretched. The size xs measure approximately 29cm across the waist band, while the size s measures approximately 34cm across – you can see a size comparison in the photos below. I think they’re fantastic, so happy to have some more Star Wars to wear under my clothes too!
