Today’s review features the Star Wars Princess Leia Stacked Pendants necklace. This necklace was a ‘must have’ as soon as I saw it. It is no secret that I always want to see more Princess Leia themed fashion – especially jewelry. She is a central character to the Star Wars saga, and I try to fit a little touch of Leia into my wardrobe as often as I can.

Star Wars Leia Stacked Pendants Necklace – US$24.99 each
The necklace came packaged on a black cardboard backing card, inside a clear plastic envelope. The necklace is secured onto the backing card by passing through the side notches, a metal ‘twist tie’ in the center, and the rest of the chain tucked into a small clear pocket on the back of the card.
The backing card features the Star Wars and Disney logos printed in white on the front, and the back includes the manufacturers details. This necklace is made by Body Vibe, one of my favourite Star Wars jewelry brands – they also made the Princess Leia cameo necklace.
The necklace is made from Rhodium plated zinc alloy, as noted in the ThinkGeek website listing.
The Princess Leia Stacked Pendants necklace features two silver-tone disc shaped pendants on a silver-tone chain. Both pendants are slightly concave, not flat. They are strung side by side on the chain, so they overlap a little when worn together. If you prefer, the pendants are easily removed off the chain, and worn one at a time – two necklaces in one!
The Princess Leia pendant features three cut-outs – one for her face, and two for her hairstyle. The shape is simplified, but still very recognisable. Princess Leia has often been left out of Star Wars jewelry, as with many other ‘face’ characters. There have been endless versions of Darth Vader and R2-D2 necklaces, it makes me very happy to see more Princess Leia jewelry available these days.
The second pendant features the classic Star Wars quote ‘May The Force Be With You’. The text is engraved, and accented with black. Princess Leia says ‘May The Force Be With You’ to Rey in The Force Awakens. While she may not say it while wearing her classic hair buns, she is one of a few characters in the films to say this version of the Star Wars sentiment. Of course, with Carrie Fisher’s passing, the words could apply to her.
The back of the quote pendant is stamped with the standard Lucasfilm copyright information. The back of the Princess Leia pendant has radiating lines, which reminds me of the starry sky appearance just when starships enter hyperspace. As you can see, the backs of the pendants are recessed slightly. Each pendant measures approximately 1.85cm in diamter.
The silver-tone chain has nice small links. Interestingly, while this necklace has extra chain for adjustment, it isn’t wider link chain. Instead, the main necklace chain has two larger rings – one at the very end, and one approximately 4cm along. This gives the necklace two different set lengths, to suit your preference. The necklace measures approximately 47.5cm, including clasp.
The clasp is a standard circular ‘spring ring’ jewelry closure. Just before the clasp, there is a small pendant inserted in the chain which is stamped with ‘©LFL’ on one side.
This is a beautiful necklace is a wonderful way to pay tribute to Princess Leia and Carrie Fisher. Wear the Leia pendant on its own for a subtle reference, or together with the quote pendant for inspiration wherever you go.
