As it is unfortunately not very often I find Star Wars fashion or accessories available here in New Zealand, I was very surprised to find this Star Wars shoulder bag while shopping at my local stationery store! The bag is made by Imagine8 UK Ltd, which holds several licenses including Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel. The shoulder bag was priced at NZ$24.99 each (approximately US$17.02) – but I paid NZ$14.99 on sale. It is still available from Warehouse Stationery NZ, but they do not ship outside New Zealand.
The black vinyl shoulder bag features red piping detail around the edges, and a front print of Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, First Order Stormtrooper, and The Force Awakens logo (the back of the bag is plain). There is one main zip-up compartment, and one front zip-up pocket – both zips are red plastic, with rubber zipper pulls featuring the Star Wars logo. The bag measures approximately 18cm across, 23cm tall, and 7cm deep. The black shoulder strap is adjustable, with silver-toned hardware – it measures approximately 73cm at it’s shortest adjusted length, and approximately 136cm at it’s longest adjusted length.
While not large enough for an ‘everyday’ bag, this is a great small size that still holds the essentials (wallet, phone, keys etc). I really like this style for conventions – the strap can be worn on the shoulder or as a crossbody bag. Finding a Star Wars bag locally – and on sale? I had to buy it! 🙂
