Shortly after Celebration Anaheim, Thinkgeek ran a promotion of ‘buy one, get one free’ on their range of Star Wars bead charms, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to add to my bracelet. I was keen to buy the lightsaber bead charm, and choose the Yoda bead as my free charm. Usually priced at US$34.99, this was a great promotion, effectively making them half price – they are both still available from Thinkgeek.
Each charm came packaged on a backing card, the same as the rest of the charms in the Body Vibe collection. They are both dangle charms, each hanging from a circular bead with Aurabesh text – ‘Yoda’ is written twice on his hanger, and ‘Lightsaber’ is written once on it’s hanger. They are made from stainless steel, as noted in the etching on the side of the hanger – ‘(c) LFL S. Steel’. The lightsaber charm features some black weathering to accent the hilt, a nice touch. The long leather bracelet available from Thinkgeek (as seen in my photos below and reviewed here) can also be worn as a necklace, so these charms can also function as singular pendants. As with the rest of the collection, these bead charms will fit standard Pandora bracelets, so you can add a touch of Star Wars to existing charm bracelets.
