The Run Disney Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon Weekend kicks off today at Walt Disney World, and the Disney Store has two women’s event t-shirts available in a limited release. The first t-shirt is white, and commemorates the Dark Side Challenge (completing the 10K and Half Marathon), with the course map on the back. The second t-shirt is blue, and commemorates the Dark Side Half Marathon, again with the course map on the back. Both t-shirts are priced at US$27.95 each, and are available in sizes S to XXL. These are limited release items, and are only available to order until Sunday April 24th 2016, so don’t wait if you want to order these. While Disney Store can ship internationally, these limited release items only ship within the US.
I do find it interesting that these are available online, as runners wanting to commemorate their achievement can choose from a huge variety of apparel and merchandise available onsite at the expo, but I guess this is an option for those who don’t wish to ‘jinx’ themselves by buying them before actually finishing the race!
