Spotlight is a chain of stores in Australia and New Zealand that stocks fabrics – and recently released a collection of exclusive Star Wars designs on a range of fabrics including polar fleece, flannelette, poplin and drill. I made sure to grab supplies of my favourite designs – it was hard to resist grabbing all the bolts of fabric and buying it all! While not wearable in it’s purchased state, I plan to make several garments and accessories using the fabrics in my experiments in creating my own tailored Star Wars wardrobe. Below is the range of Star Wars designs and fabrics currently available at Spotlight – printed Star Wars fabrics aren’t new, but until now have not been available locally here in New Zealand. In the past I have had to source Star Wars fabric for craft projects through Etsy and ebay as the U.S. fabric stores that often stock it don’t ship internationally.
