We Love Fine is one of my favourite websites for women’s Star Wars fashion, and I was excited to stop by their booth at Celebration Anaheim. To my surprise, their booth was full of brand new Star Wars fashion! I joined the huge crowd of eager shoppers and finally narrowed down my choices to buy – a very hard task! They have just added all these fantastic new items to their website, so I’ll have a new post with more details very soon.
Across the top row of the booth were many of their new tops, including a Rebel Scum knitted sweater and R2-D2 knitted sweater. I already own two We Love Fine Star Wars sweaters, and loved the Rebel design so I made sure to buy one. The other tops on display included the recent button down shirts and Rebel Scum tank top, together with three new tank tops featuring Luke and Leia. Two of them, together with the older Vader and Rebel Scum tops feature raw edges and dropped arm holes, great for casual summer wear.
One outfit that really caught my eye was this new ‘I Am Han’ set. Available as separate items, the outfit consists of a ivory t-shirt and blue shorts. The shorts feature the classic red Corellian Bloodstripe design down each side, while the coordinating t-shirt features Han’s black vest design and high side split to show off the bloodstripes when worn together. The t-shirt also has a longer hem at the back – perfect for that little bit of extra coverage. I really didn’t want to miss out on the Han Solo t-shirt, so I made sure to buy one at the booth – I’ll have a review posted soon.
Also on display was a great new Chewbacca themed outfit consisting of a jacket and leggings. The ‘I Am Chewbacca’ jacket features faux fur and fantastic bandolier detail across the front. The leggings are a great match with a printed fur pattern. The second back row shelf featured older We Love Fine X Goldie items like the Darth Vader dress and several new tops, including a hooded Boba Fett tank top, Endor, Tatooine and ‘The Dark Side Made Me Do It’ t-shirts. On the far left were the leggings, shorts and tunic tops, most of which was already available on their website but fantastic for fans wanting to purchase the right size.
They also had some of their older We Love Fine X Goldie collection items on mannequin displays, including the Princess Leia dress, and fantastic Death Star Battle jacket and ESB Comic Skirt. It was great to see these items displayed at the convention, they are amongst my favourite pieces of Star Wars fashion I own and deserve to be showcased.
